Basic e-cigarette kits go by quite a few names…mini kits, cigalikes, etc. These are made to look like traditional cigarettes and are the most common types of ecigs people start with.
We’ve sampled some of the most popular ones and have put together some cigalike reviews and ratings below, so check some of these out before you buy. Be cautious of any “free” offers you see, because they often aren’t and there’s a lot of complaints floating around about some companies (i.e. Victory) making unauthorized recurring charges to credit cards when that’s not what was offered.
Note: We’d advise against buying mini kits with only one battery, unless you’d like to just test the waters with a particular brand and buy more batteries later. If you plan to use them regularly, single battery kits will frustrate the hell out of you when you have to constantly stop for an hour or two and wait for your one battery to charge. The thing is, small batteries on these basic kits don’t last very long…typically you’re talking only an hour or two of constant use before they and then an hour or two of recharging.
